Crab And Clam Pie
|Onion||1 Large, sliced into thin rounds|
|9 inch pie crust||1|
|Grated sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Crab meat||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter/Razor dams||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Half and half||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1|
Scatter onion over pie crust and top with half the cheese, followed by the crab and clams.
Beat eggs lightly; add half and half and a lot of pepper to eggs.
Pour egg mixture over seafood, scatter remaining cheese on top, and bake (set pie on a baking sheet) in 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes until set and golden.
Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing, then serve hot or at room temperature.
