1.Start by preheating the oven to 350F degrees
2.Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
3.Beat in sugar gradually.
4.Fold in dates, lemon juice and vanilla and pour into crumb shell.
5.Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
6.Serve with whipped cream
