1.Start by preheating the oven to 450F degrees
2.Also wash the berries and chop them
3.In a bowl, mix the berries along with the next 5 ingredients
4.Line pie pan with pastry, pour in filling and arrange strips of pastry over top in lattice design.
5.Bake in very hot oven for 15 minutes; reduce temperature to moderate (350Â° F.) and bake about 30 minutes longer.
6.Serve with vanilla ice cream
