Quick Beef Pie
|Ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Canned condensed tomato soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Canned green beans||16 Ounce (Drained)|
|Seasoned mashed potatoes||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a 10-inch glass dish, crumble beef.
Add onion and salt; cook 6 to 7 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time, until browned.
Drain off excess drippings.
Add soup, green beans, and pepper to meat mixture.
Cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Press meat mixture into dish.
Drop potatoes in mounds around edge of hot mixture, and sprinkle with cheese.
Cook 3 to 4 minutes, rotating dish one-quarter turn halfway through cooking time.
Rest 5 minutes before serving.
