Windsor Apple Pie
|Golden apples||1 1⁄4 Pound|
|Golden raisins||3 Tablespoon (Sultanas)|
|Ground almonds||5 Ounce|
|Softened butter||3 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Dark brown sugar||3 Ounce|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Creme Fraiche)|
Peel, quarter and core the apples.
Cut the quarters in half.
Arrange the apple pieces in a 9 inch (23 cm) dish and sprinkle with raisins (sultanas).
Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 4 minutes.
Mix together the ground almonds, butter, brown sugar and egg yolk.
Cover the apples with this mixture and microwave, uncovered, for 4 minutes on HIGH.
