Frozen Apple Ice Milk Pie

Ingredients
  Chocolate wafers 6 Ounce (1 Package)
  Granny smith apples 2 Large, cored, pared and shredded
  Green creme de menthe/1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract and green food coloring 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice milk 3 Pint, softened slightly
  Granny smith apple 1 , sliced (For Garnish)
  Chocolate wafer crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Fresh mint leaves 4
Directions

Line bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate with chocolate wafers, cutting cookies where necessary to fill in spaces.
Toss apples with creme de menthe in a large bowl; blend in softened ice milk, mixing well.
Spoon into prepared pie shell; freeze until firm (about 2 hours).
Garnish with apple slices, chocolate wafer crumbs or mint leaves.
