Raisin Nut Pie
|Dark corn syrup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Firmly packed light brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Pure vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans/Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Unbaked 9 inch pastry shell||1|
Using a fork, beat eggs lightly in a bowl.
Beat in corn syrup, brown sugar, margarine, salt and vanilla until well blended.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake in preheated 350Â° F oven 40 to 50 minutes, or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
Cool and serve.
