Custard Mince Pie

I call this Custard Mince Pie classic dessert coz of its wonderful blend of mincemeat with the basic custard recipe on a plain pastry! Well, when topped with nuts, Oh my my! I would say this Custard Mince Pie is the best dessert pie I have ever had. Come give it a try and enjoy the treat!
Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Mincemeat 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Plain pastry 1⁄2
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Beat eggs, adding sugar and salt gradually add milk and stir until thoroughly blended.
Line piepan with plain pastry, spread njincemeat over bottom crust, and pour in custard mixture.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake in hot oven (425 F.) 25-30 minutes or until firm
