Prune Chiffon Pie

Ingredients
  Gelatin 1 Tablespoon
  Cold water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chopped cooked prunes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Prune juice 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Grated lemon rind 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Egg whites 2
  Pastry shell 1 , baked
Directions

Soften gelatin in cold water.
Mix together sugar, salt, prunes, juice, lemon juice and rind heat to boiling.
Remove from heat, dissolve gelatin in mixture.
Cool until slightly thickened, then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into baked pastry shell and chilli
