Sugarless Apple Pie

This Sugarless Apple Pie is a sure treat for those yearning to taste amazing dessert, but fear about its sweetness. This Sugarless Apple Pie uses no added sugar and hence is the best treat for the diabetic. Moreover, the slightly spicy tinch makes it all the more delicious!
  Frozen apple juice concentrate 1 Can (10 oz) (Thawed)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Golden apples 6 Large, peeled, cored, and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  9 inch baked pastry shell 1 (1 1/2 Inches Deep, In Glass, Ceramic, Or Plastic Dish)
  Whipped cream/Ice cream / cheddar cheese slices 1 Tablespoon

In a 2 quart batter bowl or casserole, stir together apple juice, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg; blend well, then stir in apples.
Cut butter into small pieces and dot over apples.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
Uncover and microwave on HIGH (100%) for 8 more minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
Apple slices should be fork tender.
Let cool, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes before spooning into baked pastry shell.
Refrigerate before serving.
