Never Fail Pie Paste
This recipe for the never fail pie paste can be used for any pie and is a sure fire success. Prepared by combining the flour together with sugar and added eggs, vinegar and water, the never fail pie paste can be refrigerated.
|All purpose flour||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar||3 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
Combine the dry ingredients, cut in lard.
To moisten, add egg beaten in measuring cup, vinegar, and sufficient water to fill cup 3/4 full.
Store in cov ered bowl in refrigerator and use as needed.
Leave dough at room temperature before rolling out.
