Mamaw Maxey's Peanut Butter Pie
|Unbaked 9 inch pie shell||1|
|Peanut butter||6 Ounce, softened (6 Heaping Tablespoons)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Prick the pastry shell all over with a fork and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Cream the peanut butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and beat well.
Add the milk; mix well.
Pour into the partially baked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until filling is firm in the center.
Cover the crust edge with foil if necessary to prevent overbrowning.
Serve with sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
