Cook one 3 3/4 or 4 ounce package regular chocolate pudding mix according to package directions for pie; cover surface with waxed paper and cool.
Prepare one 3 5/8 or 3 3/4 ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix according to package directions for pie, except use only 1 cup milk and add 1 cup dairy sour cream.
Beat 1 cup of the prepared vanilla pudding into cooled chocolate pudding till smooth.
Spread evenly in a baked 9 inch pastry shell.
Add 2 tablespoons milk to remaining vanilla pudding, beating till smooth.
Spread over chocolate filling immediately.
Chill till set.
Garnish with chocolate curls.
