Tart apples/2 no. 2 cans (5 cups) sliced pie apples, drained
9 inch unbaked pastry shell
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Pare apples and cut in eighths; arrange in unbaked pie shell.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the flour; cut in butter till crumbly.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake in hot oven (400Â°) 40 minutes, or till done.
Spoon whipped cream atop; sprinkle with a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
