Wholemeal Chicken Pie

The whole meal chicken pie is prepared with a pastry crust and filled with chicken along with vegetables. Filling and wholesome, the wholemeal chicken pie is made with chicken along with mushrooms, asparagus soup and eggs flavored with mustard, salt and pepper. Adapted from Sharp Microwave and Convection Cookbook.
Ingredients
  Plain flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sesame seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon
  Butter 125 Gram, cubed
  Water 4 Tablespoon
  Butter 20 Gram
  Sliced button mushrooms 200 Gram
  Cornflour 2 Tablespoon
  Canned creamy asparagus soup 440 Gram
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

PASTRY 1.
Sift together flour, salt and paprika.
Stir in sesame seeds and parmesan cheese.

Rub in butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Add water and mix into a soft dough.

Wrap in greaseproof paper.
Chill for 30 minutes.
FILLING 1.
Melt butter for 15 seconds on HIGH.
Stir in mushrooms.
Cook for 2 minutes on HIGH.

Stir in cornflour and then soup, mustard, salt, pepper, and chicken.
Allow to cool.
3.
Preheat oven to 200°C.

Roll out half the pastry to line a 20-cm pie plate.
5.
Spoon in filling.
Roll out remaining pastry to cover pie.
Crimp pastry edges and brush with beaten egg. Make certain piercings using a knife
6.
Place on Low Rack.
Bake for 18-22 minutes on LOW MIX/BAKE 200°C
