Frito Chili Pie
|Canned ranch style beans||40 Ounce|
|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, chopped|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chili mix||2 Packet|
|Canned tomato sauce||24 Ounce|
|Fritos||13 Ounce (King Size)|
|Longhorn cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs), grated|
Heat ranch-style beans and set aside to drain.
Brown beef in skillet; drain off excess fat.
Saute green pepper and onion in small amount of butter.
Add to beef with water, chili mix and tomato sauce.
Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In 9 x 13-inch casserole place a layer of Fritos, one-half the beef mixture, one-half the beans and 1 cup cheese.
Crumble a topping of Fritos.
Bake in 350-degree oven until cheese melts.
