Best-Ever Walnut Pie

Ingredients
  Dark corn syrup 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 4 , lightly beaten
  Diamond walnuts 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Unbaked pie shell 9 Inch
  Whipped cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Garnish)
  Packed brown sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

In large bowl, combine syrup, eggs, salt, sugar and vanilla.
Stir briskly until well blended; do not beat because mixture should not become foamy.
Stir in walnuts.
Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in preheated 400°F oven 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350°F; bake 40 to 50 minutes longer or just until center trembles slightly when pie is gently shaken.
Cool on wire rack.
Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
