Savory Beef Pie
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green pepper||2 Tablespoon|
|Cut up cooked beef||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cooked vegetables||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Gravy drop biscuits||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Melt shortening in large skillet; cook and stir onion and green pepper until tender.
Stir in meat, vegetables and gravy; heat about 5 minutes.
Heat oven to 450Â°.
Prepare 10 to 12 Drop Biscuits as directed on buttermilk baking mix package except drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot meat mixture.
Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits are brown.
Serve with individual tossed green salads and, for the finale, Double Fudge Cake
