Crunch-crust Pie

Crunch crust pie is a delightful pie made with a chocolate and rice cereal crust. The speciality of this dessert pie lies in the crust itself and is filled with alternate layers of green mint ice cream and chocolate shavings. Served cold, this pie can soothe away your summer blues.
Ingredients
  Semisweet chocolate pieces 6 Ounce
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Crisp rice cereal 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Mint ice cream 1 Quart, slightly softened (Green Colored)
  Green mint ice cream 1 Quart, slightly softened
  Unsweetened chocolate 11 Ounce, shaved
Directions

In top of double boiler, melt chocolate and butter over hot water, stirring to blend.
Add rice cereal; mix well.
Press into unbuttered 9 inch pie plate; chill till firm.
Let crust stand at room temperature 5 minutes; fill with alternating layers of ice cream and shaved chocolate.
Serve at once.
