Strawberry Chiffon Filling
|Unflavored gelatin/1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin||1 Tablespoon|
|Unsweetened orange juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sweet cider||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Hot)|
|Mint sprig||1 , minced|
|Strawberries/Fruit||1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced or crushed|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped|
Soften gelatin in orange juice.
Add hot cider and mint.
Stir until dissolved.
When mixture begins to thicken, beat with rotary beater until frothy.
Mix fruit with salt and lemon juice and fold, with whipped cream, into gelatin mixture.
Turn info baked piecrust.
