Hot Water Pie Crust

This Hot Water Pie Crust is so tasty and crispy ! Use this Hot Water Pie Crust for making a variety of sweet and savory pies and tell me what you liked it best with !
Ingredients
  Boiling water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rye flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  All purpose flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

In Bosch mixing bowl, pour boiling water over shortening, and mix until creamy.
Add dry ingredients, and stir only until mixture forms a ball.
Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
Roll out between two large pieces of lightly floured plastic wrap or on a lightly floured surface.
Makes 1 doublecrust or 2 singlecrust pies.
