Miniature Pecan Pies

Ingredients
  Pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Firmly packed brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon, melted (or margarine)
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cream cheese pastry shells   (as required)
Directions

Position knife blade in food processor bowl, add pecans.
Top with cover, and pulse 4 times or until pecans are evenly chopped.
Remove pecans, set aside.
Position knife blade in processor bowl, add egg, sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt.
Top with cover, and process until smooth.
Fill each pastry shell three-fourths full with mixture.
Sprinkle on pecans.
Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove immediately, and cool on rack.
