It is a great spring time dish to make when tender asparagus is in season. Its an easy but elegant pie to prepare when you have sudden guests for over for lunch or dinner. I usually serve this with a fresh citrus fruit salad, accompanied with a good white wine.

I bet this Asparagus pie is gonna be too filling and satisfying; may be a perfect breakfasts or brunch! But can this be made day-before and then refrigerated and baked the very next day? Would that spoil the taste or freshness? Coz making it up in the morning may be a lil time consuming rite?

I could never thought of asparagus pie; it looks so yum! Chef, can we use any kind of flour or is there any specific one? Though my choice would be to go with whole wheat flour as it is more healthy as compared to the all purpose flour....
