Pastry For One Crust Pie
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cold water||4 Tablespoon|
|Yellow food coloring||3 Drop|
Measure flour and salt into mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening thoroughly.
Add a few drops of yellow food coloring to water.
Sprinkle water over mixture, one tablespoon at a time, stirring lightly with fork.
Roll out pastry to fit 9-inch pie plate.
Trim and flute edge.
Prick sides and bottom with fork.
Microwave 4 to 5 minutes on '8', or until crust appears flaky.
For ovens without solid state heat control, Microwave 4 to 5 minutes on HIGH, turning halfway through.
