Golden Tuna Pie
|Lima beans||2 Pound, drained|
|Canned tuna||14 Ounce, drained and flaked|
|Canned stewed tomatoes||1 Pound|
|Italian seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Refrigerated biscuits||7 1⁄2 Ounce (Plain Or Buttermilk)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Cornmeal||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1 Mix lima beans and tuna with tomatoes, sugar, and Italian seasoning in a 6-cup baking dish.
2 Bake in hot oven (425Â°) 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
3 While tuna mixture bakes, separate the 6 biscuits; cut a hole in center of each with a doughnut cutter.
Roll both large and small circles in melted butter or margarine in a pie plate, then in corn meal to coat well.
Arrange on top of tuna mixture.
4 Bake for 15 minutes longer, or until biscuits are crusty golden.
