Apple Raisin Pie Supreme
|Sun-dried apples||8 Ounce|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Raw honey||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sea salt||1 Dash|
|Unbaked whole wheat pastry shell and dough||300 Gram|
|Whole wheat flour||2 Tablespoon|
Soak apples and raisins overnight in orange juice.
Drain and save any excess juice.
Add lemon juice, honey, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon to the fruit.
Put apples and raisins in bottom of uncooked crust.
Dribble any remaining orange juice over fruit.
Sprinkle fruit with flour.
Dot with butter.
Make criss-cross top with strips of remaining pie dough.
Brush dough with sweetened egg white.
Bake 10 minutes at 450Â°.
Lower temperature to 300 Degree and bake for 1 hour more.
