Dried Fruit Pie

Ingredients
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Dried fruits 3 Cup (48 tbs) (Assorted Mix Of 1 Cup Raisins, 1 Cup Dates, 1 Cup Apples Or Apricots)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Whole wheat flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  9 inch whole wheat pie crust 1 , partially baked
Directions

Bring the water and fruit to a boil.
Reduce the heat.
Simmer until very thick.
Stir in the butter and flour.
Remove from the heat.
Blend half of mixture at a time in a blender.
Stir in the chopped nuts.
Fill the crust.
Bake 20 minutes at 350 Degree.
This pie looks like dark molasses pie.
It is delicious and slightly tart.
Add almond topping if desired.
