1. In a food processor, combine the dried figs and 2 pounds of dates until it reaches a cookie dough consistency.
2. Press this crust into the bottom of parchment lined pie pan dish.
3. For the apple pie filling – in a blender, blend together 3 apples with 1 pound of dates, cinnamon, and nutmeg, until it reaches a thick, smooth, pie filling consistency.
4. Spread some filling over the date crust and top it with some apple slices as shown in the video. Make the layers of apples and pie filling.
