Maple Cream Pie
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Maple syrup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Baked 9 inch pie shell||1|
|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped|
Scald milk in double boiler.
Combine syrup, cornstarch, egg, sugar and salt; add to scalded mixture.
Heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat; pour into pie shell.
Chill. Top with whipped cream.
