Crumbly Apple Pie

Ingredients
  Corn oil 1⁄4 Pint
  Cold water 3 Tablespoon
  Plain flour 10 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Cooking apples 2 (As Required)
  Brown sugar 4 Tablespoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Grated nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Caster sugar To Taste (As Required)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Start by preheating oven to 400°F
2. Take the apples and peel, core and slice it

MAKING
3. In a bowl, mix together corn oil and water, then stir in flour and pinch of salt, with the help of a fork mix mixture to soften the dough, you can add extra flour to make the mixture less sticky, if desired
4. In greaseeproof paper, place two-thirds of pastry between the 2 sheets and use to line pie dish, use a fork to prick, place the sliced apples and sprinkle brown sugar and the spices over the mixture
5. In a plate, place remaining pastry , take the pastry edges and damp in water, cover top with lid, now seal it by pinching the edges of pastry together
6. Finally bake in oven for about 25 minutes

SERVING
7. Serve warm or cold, sprinkled with caster sugar, with pouring cream separately
