Fruit Topped Vanilla Cream Pie

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 Quart
  Egg yolks 4
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pastry shell 1
  Kiwi 3 , peeled and sliced
  Sliced strawberries 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whole strawberry 1
  Strawberry jelly 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a heavy saucepan add sugar, cornstarch, and salt and mix.
2. Stir in milk and egg yolks. Mix well.
3. Blend into sugar mixture.
4. Cook and stir over medium heat until boiling and thick.
5. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
6. Take off from heat.
7. Add butter and vanilla; mix well.
8. Pour into baked pastry shell at once.
9. Cover with waxed paper.
10. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
11. Chill to set.
12. Decorate the pie with fruit.
13. Cook and stir jelly over low heat until it melts.
14. Spoon jelly evenly over fruit.
15. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

SERVING
16. Serve cold.
