Mayonnaise Pie Crust
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon rind||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Mix flour and salt.
Stir in mayonnaise with a fork.
Add water and rind and mix well.
Roll dough out on a lightly floured board to a 12-inch circle.
Fit lightly into a 9-inch pie plate.
Or divide dough into 6 portions and roll each into a circle.
Fit into individual pie plates and flute edges.
Makes one 9-inch shell or 6 tart shells.
