Strawberry Satin Pie

Ingredients
Baked 9-inch Pastry Shell - 1
Sliced almonds - 1/2 cup , toasted
Creamy Satin Filling
Fresh strawberries - 3 cups
Sugar - 1/4 CUP
Cornstarch - 2 teaspoons
Red food coloring - Few drops
Whipped cream - for topping
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Divide berries in two parts.
2.Take out a few perfect one from both parts.
.3.Now with the remaining parts, crush one group and cut the other part in halves.

MAKING
4.On the bottom f pastry shell, sprinkle almonds.
5.Pour chille creamy satin filling.
6.Put a layer of whole and halved berries.
7.Mix crusehd berries with 1/2 cup water and cook for 2 minutes.
8.Strain.
9.Combine sugar with cornstarch and add the berry juice to it.
10.Cook by stirring until thick and clear.
11.Add red food coloring and let the mixture cool.
12.Using a spoon, put the mixture on the pie.
Chill.

SERVING
13.Serve topped with whipped cream.
