Peanut Pear Pie
|Skinny pie crust||1 (1 recipe)|
|Chopped peeled pears||5 Cup (80 tbs) (fresh chunks)|
|Freshly squeezed lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped raisins||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped peanuts||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Whole wheat pastry flour||1 Tablespoon|
1 Preheat the oven to 400°Fahrenheit.
2 With the pastry, line a 9-inch pie plate.
3 As per the package instructions, bake blind in the oven.
4 In a large bowl, combine pears with the remaining ingredients, toss lightly to mix.
5 Into the prepared piecrust, put the mixture.
6 Bake on the bottom shelf of the oven, for about 40 minutes or until the crust is golden and fruit is tender.
7 Cut and serve.
