Deep Dish Peach Pie
|Double crust pie pastry||1|
|Peaches||6 Cup (96 tbs), sliced|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cinnamon sugar||2 Tablespoon|
1 Preheat the oven to 425°Fahrenheit
2 Prepare the pastry and roll out half of it.
3 Line a 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish, with the rolled out pastry.
4 In a bowl, add peaches, sugar, flour, nutmeg, allspice and cardamom; toss to mix.
5 In the pastry-lined baking dish, put the mixture.
6 Sprinkle with water and dot with butter.
7 Cover using a lattice top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
8 Bake in oven for 15 minutes.
9 Lower the temperature to 350°Fahrenheit and bake for another 50 minutes.
10 Can be served with cream.
