Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie
|Apple butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cooked pumpkin/Canned mashed pumpkin||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Unbaked pie shell||1|
Combine apple butter, pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
Beat eggs and stir into mixture.
Gradually add evaporated milk and mix thoroughly.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake in a hot oven (425° F) 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in pie comes out clean.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
