Fudge Meringue Pie

Ingredients
  Flour 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate 2 Ounce, broken
  Egg yolks 3 , slightly beaten
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  9 inch pie shell 1 , baked and cooled
  Egg whites 3
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cream of tartar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 6 Tablespoon
Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar, the flour and salt Gradually stir in milk.
Add chocolate.
Stir constantly over medium heat until bubbly.
Simmer 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat Stir a small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks; immediately add egg yolk mixture to remaining hot mixture in saucepan.
Stir constantly over medium heat 2 minutes.
Remove from heat Add butter or margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Pour into cooled baked pie shell.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a small bowl, beat egg whites, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and cream of tartar until foamy.
Gradually beat in 6 tablespoons sugar, beating until stiff and glossy.
Spoon meringue on chocolate filling, carefully sealing to edge of crust Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
Cool.
