Poppa's Favourite Beef And Oyster Pie
|Stewing beef||1 1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Beer||12 Ounce (1 Bottle)|
|Water/1 can beef bouillon||8 Ounce, for dissolving with bouillon cube|
|Bouillon cube||4 Ounce|
|Oysters||12 (Canned Or Fresh)|
|Pastry||1 (For Cover)|
Dredge beef with flour and brown.
Add all liquids and onions and cook until beef is tender.
When beef is cooked, add oysters.
Adjust seasonings and thicken, if necessary.
Line sides of a deep pie dish with pastry, letting it hang over edge enough to seal upper crust.
Put in beef and oysters, cover with pastry, sealing edges well.
Cook 1 hour at 350°.
