Ingredients
  Pie crust 1
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cling peach slices/4 cups peach slices (fresh / frozen) 29 Ounce
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Orange rind 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to a hot (425° F.).
Grease an 8-inch round baking dish.

MAKING
2. Place the peaches and syrup in the dish.
3. Mix the sugar, nutmeg, cornstarch, salt and orange rind and pour evenly over the peaches.
4. Sprinkle lemon juice over the peaches and dot them with butter
5. Roll out the pastry 1/2 inch larger than the baking dish and cut slits into the pastry lid to allow steam to escape while the peaches cook.
6. Press the overhanging pastry firmly against the edge of the dish. Flute the edges and bake till done.

SERVING
7. Serve hot or warm with sweet whipped cream
