Apple Raisin Pie

Ingredients
  Buttery pastry shell 1
  Golden raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter flavored salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cooking apples 5 Cup (80 tbs), pared, cored and sliced
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

MAKING
2.Take an 8 inch pie plate, arrange half the pastry in it.
3.Mix raisins, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple slices and butter flavored salt.
4.With a spoon, pout rhe filling mixture in the pastry.
5.Place the leftover pastry in such a way to cover the top.
6.Secure the edges by pressing the top and bottom crust.
7.Make slits in top crust so that the steam can pass.
8.Bake the pie for 40 minutes until golden brown.

SERVING
9.Serve the pie warm.
