Almond Cream Pie

Making an almond cream pie ….a lot of work?! If you thought so, here's a recipe that makes it really easy for you. A delicious almond pie can now be made for your dessert tonight real quickly. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Cake flour 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
  Eggs 2 , slightly beaten
  Rum 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Scalded milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Crumb pie shell 9 Inch, chilled
  Whole blanched almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Toasted Lightly)
  Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, sift together the flour, salt atop a double boiler
2) Add in the eggs and 3 tablespoons of rum and stir well
3) Add in the milk and remaining rum and gradually drop by drop
4) Cook over the hot water, continually stirring till the mixture thickens
5) Take off from the heat and allow to cool
6) In the pie shell, scatter in the almonds and then pour the filling atop
7) Cover with whipped cream and garnish with the shaved chocolate

SERVING
8) Serve Cold
