Apple Walnut Cobbler Pie
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Walnuts||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), coarsely chopped|
|Apples||4 Cup (64 tbs), pared|
|Sifted flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Evaporated milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted|
Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup walnuts.
Place apples in bottom of a greased 8-1/4x1-3/4-inch round ovenware cake dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Combine egg, milk, and butter, add dry ingredients all at once.
Mix until smooth.
Pour over apples; sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
Bake in a slow oven at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes.
Cut in wedges; serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
