Quick Chocolate Angel Pie
|9 inch meringue pie shell||1 , baked and cooled|
|Hot water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Semisweet chocolate bits||12 Ounce, melted (1 Package)|
|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sifted confectioners' sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Blend water and chocolate bits until smooth and cool to room temperature.
Beat cream and sugar to stiff peaks, fold into chocolate mixture, flavor with vanilla, and spoon into meringue shell.
Chill well before serving.
