Quick Chocolate Angel Pie

Ingredients
  9 inch meringue pie shell 1 , baked and cooled
For filling
  Hot water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Semisweet chocolate bits 12 Ounce, melted (1 Package)
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sifted confectioners' sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Blend water and chocolate bits until smooth and cool to room temperature.
Beat cream and sugar to stiff peaks, fold into chocolate mixture, flavor with vanilla, and spoon into meringue shell.
Chill well before serving.
