Banana Cherry Pie
|Short crust pastry||6 Ounce|
|Cherries||250 Gram (1 small tin)|
|Vanilla custard||1⁄2 Pint|
Line a pie plate with the rolled out pastry, trim and decorate the edges, prick the base lightly with a fork.
Bake in a hot oven (400° F) for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to moderate and cook for another 20 mins., or until the pastry is golden brown.
Leave to cool before filling.
Arrange peeled and thickly sliced bananas in pastry case with the drained cherries.
Pour over the cold custard and leave to set.
