Fourth Of July Pie
|Lemon gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Ice cubes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Frozen whipped topping||8 Ounce, thawed (1 Container)|
|Sliced fresh strawberries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whole blueberries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Fresh)|
|Prepared 9 inch graham cracker crumb crust||1|
Dissolve gelatin in the boiling water, stirring about 3 minutes.
Add ice cubes and stir constantly until gelatin is thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove any unmelted ice.
Using a wire whip, blend in whipped topping and whip, until smooth.
Fold in strawberries and blueberries.
Chill, if necessary, until mixture will mound.
Spoon into pie shell.
Chill about 2 hours.
