Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry cocoa 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
For filling
  Confectionery sugar 1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)
  Margarine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (1 1/2 Sticks)
  Marshmallow creme 4 Ounce (1/2 Jar)
Directions

Sift together flour, sugars, baking soda, cocoa and salt into a bowl.
Add shortening, milk and egg; beat.
Add vanilla and mix.
Drop by tablespoons-ful onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated 425-degree oven for 8 minutes.
Remove and cool.
Combine filling ingredients, beating until smooth.
Fill between two cookies, sandwich style.
