Deluxe Apple Pie

Ingredients
  Sifted all purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Thinly sliced apples 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Broken walnuts/Broken pecans 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon 1 , rind grated and juice extracted
  White wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg yolks 2 , slightly beaten
  Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Sift flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, baking powder and salt together.
Stir in vanilla.
Cut in butter as for pie crust.
Press mixture in bottom and halfway up sides of a deep-dish (9-inch) pie pan.
Combine apples, nuts, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, rind and wine.
Pile mixture in prepared crust.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
Combine egg yolks, remaining sugar and sour cream.
Pour over apple mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Serve warm or cold.
