Crustless Apple Pie
|Apples||6 , pared and sliced|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whipped cream/Hard sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Mix nutmeg with 1/2 cup sugar.
Put apples in baking dish, sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg mix.
Dot with butter.
Mix brown sugar with flour and shortening.
Blend mixture to crumb texture.
Cover apples in baking dish with crumb mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until apples are soft.
Serve with hard sauce or whipped cream.
