Strawberry Ice Cream Parfait Pie
|9 inch pie shell||1 , baked and cooled (Any Kind)|
|Strawberry flavored gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Strawberry ice cream||1 Pint|
|Sliced strawberries||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), whipped to soft peaks|
Mix gelatin and water in a large bowl.
Add ice cream by spoonfuls and stir until melted and well blended.
Chill until mixture mounds when dropped from a spoon, then fold in berries.
Spoon into pie shell and chill until firm.
Garnish with whipped cream.
