Deep Dish Pear Pie

Ingredients
  Pears 2 Pound, peeled halved and cored
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Cheddar cheese pastry 1
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven at 350°.
2) Cut the pears in halves.

MAKING
3) Use a 1 1/2 -quart casserole or deep-dish 9-inch pie plate to place the pears.
4) Squeeze lemon juice on top.
5) In a bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg to combine well.
6) Sprinkle this mixture over pears and dot with butter.
7) Place Cheddar Cheese Pastry on top and crimp the pastry at the sides of dish.
8) Make small slits over the pastry sheet to release steam.
9) Place the pie plate inside oven to bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

SERVING
10) Top with whipped cream before serving.
